I need your help :) Even though I'm never around, I'm going to humbly request for some assistance on a massive globe wide project I want to start. Really, I'm so at a lack of resources, I'll take help from anyone who doesn't live in the Bay Area, California.

I am doing a project titled 'Dead People and Tiny Plants' based on tiny plants around the world. You can check out my full reasoning here:…

I NEED PICTURES! I don't want to google this stuff, I want real photos from real people of real plants that make them think of their area. The things they/you love, the things you remember when you think of home. Or maybe don't remember, but the things that make your area special <3 This is especially for all you plant lovers!

Thanks in advance, anyone who's pictures I use will receive a free print of the picture I based off of your spot.

I'm never really on Deviant anymore...I'm sorry. I miss looking through everyone's stuff, thanking people, talking to people but I don't have time like I used to. I will still be posting my work here and major updates but I'd love to keep in touch with everyone if they've got a facebook or if anyone feels like dropping me a line through e-mail. I regularly post on my art account, and I'm always poking people on my main one.

Love you guys thanks for the support all these years as I've developed :heart:
I've gotten like one or two requests over my long stay on dA, and I have a few up that don't really get bought (I feel dA is somewhat overpriced...). Does anyone want me to make my new stuff available for prints on dA or would you rather go through me?

Just curious! Thanks for your guys's time!

who's ready to fix the system?…

and just in case that wasn't fucked up enough.

The government is trying to make it illegal to grow your own food!
---> S 510, the Food Safety Modernization Act
of 2010, if accepted would preclude the public’s right to
grow, own, trade, transport, share, feed and eat each and every food that nature makes...
How would you guys feel about a turp-operated mushroom website :o

A community based informative website that's super artist friendly. Lots of general information (field guide), tips on growing (possibly a forum?), recipes, mushroom-inspired art and music (submitted by others as well!) etc etc...

I made spaghetti with a mushroom and thyme carbonara the other day, and I fucking love mushrooms, like it's crazy. Berkeley has some of the best local mushroom growers, I plan on sampling one of each with my paychecks. I had the oyster and trumpet with my spaghetti, I'm gonna try the lobster ones next :) I love the east bay! Besides my Berkeley love though, that meal completely inspired me to want to start a website and meet other mushroom lovers.

Just curious what you guys would think!
I been really busy working, so I probably won't be posting a lot other than commissions and mushrooms. Since I know some of you probably don't want to see another mushroom from me, I'm sorry. I leave you with a little Antoine Dobson as my apology:…

But yeah, Macy's, it's not so magical.

S-T3RRA LIVE SET W/ DRUMMER (Electro/Punk/Thrash)
Although not claiming to be a veteran DJ by any means, S-T3RRA already has a lot under his belt. While most of us were graduating high school at 18, at the same age, S-T3RRA is spinning electro jams from here to LA, and soon worldwide. Mixing tunes by Empire of the Sun and opening for acts like The Toxic Avenger, there's no denying that there has to be something brewing in this young DJ.

BEHIND THE BURKA is less about the restrictive garment that Afghan women have been forced to wear and more about the lack of opportunities and freedom for these women after suffering so much strife over the years. Women in Afghanistan have been victims of war, domestic violence, illiteracy and poor physical health for the past 25 years. Many books have been written and stories have been told about the plight of Afghan women but little progress or improvements have been made. The objective of BEHIND THE BURKA is to demonstrate a visual awareness, illustrate their forgetten voices on canvas and sculptural form, and raise funds to assist the beleaguered women in Afghanistan.
